Products that have been worn, taken on a test ride, or installed on a motorcycle are not eligible for return unless they are defective and fall under the manufacturer’s warranty. Experience superior protection and comfort with this advanced helmet featuring the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism designed to enhance shell shape and functionality. The VAS pivot cover is engineered to be smaller and lower, providing increased area above the cover for improved aerodynamics. A smooth shell along the Snell test line in the temple area enhances the helmet’s ability to glance off objects during impact, elevating safety standards.
Equipped with a larger latch for intuitive and seamless shield operation, the VAS latch securely holds the shield closed to prevent unexpected openings. Constructed with Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC), the shell balances lightweight design with exceptional strength, ensuring reliable protection without added bulk.
The helmet features an intermediate oval shape tailored to fit the majority of head shapes common in North American markets. Customizable fit is achieved through an adjustable perimeter liner and cheek pads, allowing for precise sizing to individual requirements. The soft-brushed, removable liner not only offers incredible comfort but also facilitates easy cleaning to maintain freshness.
Comfort is further enhanced by FCS cheek pads, which combine contoured shapes with multiple layers of varying foam densities supported by a foam spring, cradling the face and effectively reducing wind noise. Aerodynamic stability and ventilation are optimized with a one-piece exhaust vent that improves exhaust performance, while the top exhaust vent remains open continuously to extract heat and relieve moisture buildup in the eye port area, helping to prevent shield fogging.
Additional design details include a shell flare of 5 mm around the base, making the helmet easier to put on and take off while remaining securely in place with the FCS2 cheek pads.
